Introducing Desolate Dunes

Hello Captains it’s the Weird Kids here and today we want to introduce our upcoming second combat arena , the Desolate Dunes.

Corridors and More

Desolate Dunes takes inspiration from classic FPS game level designs with a bigger focus on tight corridors , levels broken down into smaller rooms/ compartments, and a variety of access points.

A More Intimate Fight

The more narrow nature of the level design also focuses on promoting melee combat , With the tighter spacing our Scythes and hammers shine allowing players to use melee weapons for solid defensive capabilities.

Exploration Encouraged

This level also includes an interactive disco ball ( and maybe a few challenges associated with that feature including 80+ new chalenges total ) as well as a greater focus on exploration . Touch all 3 access door panels in order to access new areas of the level!

Touching Some ...Sand

This arena also includes an external courtyard which is the first ( but not last) we’ve had the opportunity to implement, look up in the sky while squinting and you’ may see some of the Dunes fauna while grabbing a snack!

We apologize for the long hiatus , several unfortunate have impacted our team this year but we look forward to launching our second combat arena in early October!
